Worker Bee Community Acupuncture is expanding its team! We are in search of a kind-hearted, talented and focused L.Ac or D.Om to join our well-established clinic located outside the quaint historic town of Milford, Pennsylvania.
Worker Bee focuses solely on Chinese Medicine as their healing modality.
EFFECTIVE DATES
January 01, 2019 – December 31, 2019 (with the potential of yearly renewal)
UNIQUE SETTING AND OPPORTUNITIES
Be a part of a hybrid community clinic that has spent almost a decade providing affordable Chinese medicine with a more “personal treatment” vibe.
Work with a seasoned practitioner who can provide training and guidance with mastering Medical Pulse Diagnosis (MPD ®) as a means of providing very personalized acupuncture treatments and custom herbal formulas with short intake periods.
Be trained, if interested, in a procedure offered by our clinic that provides very effective results in seasonal, food, and environmental allergies.
Obtain experience and use with, if interested, in frequency based digital scanning software that complements our focus on functional medicine.
Learn or refine your practice of distal needling techniques.
Spend time learning from our on-staff wildcrafter and folk medicine practitioner.
Work with individuals who are super passionate about traditional as well as 21st-century Chinese medicine.
PART-TIME TO FULL-TIME POTENTIAL
At hire, part-time steady work will be provided with approximately 25 hours per work. This position could very quickly move into a full-time position as our clinic has an extensive waiting list.
SHIFTS/HOURS
3 six-hour shifts Tuesday – Thursday with some evening hours are required.
1 six-hour shift alternating Fridays and Saturdays
Additional shifts possible
EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION
Compensation is dependent upon skill level and the number of clients that may be successfully seen per hour.
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS: PAID VACATION, SICK TIME & HEALTHCARE
Paid vacation days include New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and
Christmas Day. 5 paid personal vacation &/or sick days are also allotted for the year.
Standard health coverage is not provided. Acupuncture treatments, herbs, and frequency therapies are free of cost
Job Requirements:
- Effectively assess client needs, communicate clearly, and implement treatment protocol(s) for 2 clients per hour, with the intention of treating more as proficiency develops.
- Maintain client files with appropriate documentation.
- Open-minded to multiple treatment perspectives and protocols.
- Herbal certification welcomed but not required to practice acupuncture
