Traveling To The Won
SEPTA’s Regional Rail system is a convenient and easy way to reach The Won Institute. The closest station to campus is the Glenside Station. The Glenside, Lansdale/Doylestown, Warminster and Airport rail lines stop at the Glenside Station. Trains to Glenside are available from many stations in the area, including the Philadelphia Airport, Suburban, Jefferson (formerly Market East) and 30th Street Stations in Center City Philadelphia. The Won Institute is a 5-minute walk from Glenside Station. After getting off of the train, walk down the stairs to Easton Road. Cross the street at Glenside Avenue and Easton Road and then turn right on Easton Road. Continue along Easton Road until you reach The Won Institute at 137 S. Easton Road.
Amtrak provides regional/national train service through 30th Street Station in Center City Philadelphia.
From 30th Street Station, you can take SEPTA’s Regional Rail (see above), rent a car or taxi, Uber or Lyft. A taxi ride from 30th Street Station will take approximately 35 minutes.
Megabus and Bolt Bus provide service to Philadelphia. Both have stops outside of 30th Street Station in Center City Philadelphia. Please see train directions (above) for information on getting to campus from 30th Street Station.
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is the closest airport to The Won Institute. From the airport, you can take SEPTA Regional Rail, rent a car or take a taxi, Uber or Lyft from the airport. The cost of a car from the Airport to The Won Institute is approximately $50 one way. The drive from the airport takes approximately 45 minutes-1 hour depending on traffic.
Taking SEPTA Regional Rail from the Airport to The Won Institute: Once an hour, the Airport line travels to the Glenside Train Station. (see “By Train” above). The train ride from the airport to Glenside takes about 60 minutes. More information is available on taking Regional Rail from the Airport.
