On Sunday, October 29, 2017 the Won Institute and Korean Culture Foundation presented a celebration of Korean arts and culture at the seventh annual K-NOW Festival, hosted by Nydia Han, a reporter from 6ABC. The event featured a diverse array of Korean performance, visual and healing arts.
The Won Institute offered free acupuncture demonstrations as well as an opportunity to learn about acupressure, herbal medicine, Tai Chi and other eastern medicine practices as part of an effort to increase public awareness of the progress, promise, and benefits of acupuncture and eastern medicine.
Other events included a hanji fashion show featuring outfits created from traditional Korean paper and live musical performances by the East Wind drumming group and the Oscuro Quintet.
