On November 19, 2017, The Won Institute of Graduate Studies hosted its first Alumni and Student Appreciation event with a cruise on the Delaware River aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia. It was an afternoon of sun, breezes and a slight nip in the air that included a buffet lunch of delicious food, fun, and great people! Inside, passengers were treated to a large spread of a variety of food while the cruise director gave a spirited and informative explanation of the historical sites along the river.
After lunch, a DJ played music giving our faculty, staff, students and alumni a chance to get out on the dance floor. For those brave enough to go outside, there were multiple decks that offered a chance to take photos and enjoy the spectacular views of the Philadelphia and Camden skylines.
