Join us on June 17th for an online discussion of the film, Dope is Death with filmmaker Mia Donovan and special guests, Juan Cortez and Walter Bosque.
The film tells the story of the creation of the first acupuncture detoxification program in the United States started by Dr. Mutulu Shakur, the Black Panthers, and the Young Lords in collaboration with Chinese acupuncturists. DONATIONS go toward Dr. Mutulu Shakur’s Legal Defense Fund
