K-Now is a celebration of Contemporary Korean arts and culture. Journey across centuries as we explore traditional Korean arts and their potential for new expressive possibilities in our current moment.
Discover the craftsmanship behind hanji, traditional Korean paper, and then marvel at its versatility during our hanji fashion show. Listen to the sounds of traditional Korean percussion music and then hear how local ensemble The East Wind is expanding this music in new ways. Finally, enjoy performances from Oscuro Quintet and Eun Jung Choi, young Korean-American artists who are inspired by influences beyond the Korean artistic tradition.

5pm: Live perfomance featuring Korean-American musicians / dancers
