Online Doctoral Programs in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine

As the only accredited school of acupuncture and Oriental medicine in Pennsylvania, the Won Institute of Graduate Studies is proud to announce the launch of its fully-online first professional Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) with Doctorate of Acupuncture (DAC) track in spring of 2020.* The DACM is awarded to students who hold professional certification or an endorsement in Chinese or Oriental Medicine (CHP). The DAC track within the DACM awards the DAC to students who have completed both the master’s degree and licensure in Acupuncture but who do not hold certification or endorsement in Chinese or Oriental Medicine (CHP). The program is designed for busy professionals seeking to enhance clinical relationships, improve patient outcomes, and expand their professional development. Focused on actionable curriculum, the program provides students with a deeper understanding of diagnostic procedures, patient care, and collaborative care within the context of rapidly changing health care systems.

*Pending approval by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The implementation date for the Institute’s new Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degree program (DACM) has been moved back from August of 2019 to January of 2020. This change will allow us the time we need to build out our Learning Management System to best meet the needs of future doctoral students, and in a manner which is consistent with our commitment to quality and integrity.

DACM & DAc Curriculum & Tuition

Curriculum for the Won Institute’s Doctorate programs consists of ten two credit courses (20 credits) completed in twelve months, and offered in a wholly online format. The program is both time efficient and affordable. Tuition is priced at $10,995 for the full program or $3,665 per semester.
